Q: What golf facilities are available at Shannopin Country Club?
A: Shannopin offer a 18 hole regulation golf course, full driving range, short game facility with practice bunkers, and a putting green.
Q: How does Shannopin's golf course compare with those in the area?
A: Like many courses in Western Pennsylvania, Shannopin consists of winding fairways and hilly terrain. What makes us unique is our beautiful view of rolling hills and the Pittsburgh city skyline. Our course is very well-maintained and is fair for players of all ability, with course yardages ranging from 5763 to 6404 yards.
Q: Do Members have exclusive access to starting times?
A: Yes, members may make tee times up to 7 days in advance.
Q: Do you have to be a member to play Shannopin Country Club?
A: Yes, Shannopin is open to members only and their guests.
Q: If I belong to another country club can I play Shannopin?
A: Yes, you must have the Golf Professional at your club contact a member of the Shannopin golf staff to set up a tee time on your behalf.
Q: What is the Dress Code for playing golf at Shannopin Country Club?
A: No jeans or cargo pants/cargo shorts. Also, you must wear a collared shirt or an approved mock shirt, and metal spikes are NOT permitted.

Q: Can you walk when playing golf at Shannopin Country Club?
A: You may walk at any time with the following restrictions: April 1st-October 31st before 5:00pm you will pay a trail fee of $5 per nine holes played. After 5:00pm or between November 1st and March 31st you can walk with no trail fee charged.
Q: Do you offer lessons to non members?
A: Yes lessons are available to members based on availability and by appointment only. Rates vary.
Q: Does Shannopin have a junior golf program and what is included?
A: Yes, Shannopin has a Junior Golf Program which includes a Junior Inter-Club team for junior members, a Junior Golf League for junior members and three Junior Golf Camps. Non member juniors are allowed to participate in the Junior Golf Camps on a space availability.
Q: Do you have to be a member to book an outing at Shannopin Country Club?
A: No, an individual for an organization or charity can book a golf outing directly by contacting the Golf Professional.
