Q. How many people can you accommodate for an event?
A. Our capacity is driven by the style of service for an event. For a sit-down affair, we can accommodate 225 people. For cocktail affairs, our capacity is approximately 250.
Q. Do you have to be a member to hold an event at Shannopin?
A. No. Our event spaces are open to all, at the approval and discretion of Banquet Manager, Jacquie Ricketts.
Q. Do you allow outside catering?
A. No. All of our food and beverage services are provided in-house by our professional staff of chefs.
Q. Is there outdoor space that can be utilized for an event?
A. Yes. This Includes two covered patios, The Great Lawn overlooking the golf course, and The Grove.
Q. Are you able to work with me to customize menus that are within my budget?
A. Yes. Our talented and professional staff will work diligently to create a memorable event within your budget.
Q. Do you have private rooms for smaller parties available?
A. Yes. We have several options to fit your needs. Including our cozy President's Room with working fireplace and our Formal Dining Room with panoramic views of our championship golf course.
Q. Do you have preferred vendors for me to work with?
A. We have established relationships with many high quality professionals in the area we would be happy to refer you to.
